Default Panzer Tools you own

Hi guys, I've been floating around here for a while. I write for Armorama and I make YouTube videos of Panzer related models and more recently actual surviving relics and pieces. I show the real ones on camera and then compare to scale models and discuss things like paint and other aspects of Panzers. I recently did my first video like this called "Panzer III/IV Tracks In Focus" and it's doing pretty well.

https://youtu.be/oB9jBsKiU_U

I have a few coming up I'm excited about and I was wondering if you guys wanted to lend some reference material to the discussion.

I plan to do a long video on tool clamps since I own quite a few of those and they are a very hot topic in the scale modeling community. So any of those I would like to have reference of. I have 12 of the early type and one 1 complete and one broken of the later type.

I also plan to do a video on C-hooks as I have recently acquired a Panzer III/IV C-hook. I've seen a thread here about them and have saved the pictures, but I'd like the permission of anyone that owns the pieces to use those pics. So you could repost them here.

I also own a shorter type shovel like the type used on most Tiger I, so I'll probably do a video about that as well, not much to say on that obviously, but if anyone owns the longer type and has good images of it I'd love to use those.

I will do one on Wire cutters too, mine are in pretty poor shape, and while I have plenty of images from the net of good condition ones I'd like any of those as well.

Then we get to the stuff I don't have.

Axes, hammers, tow cables, all the various wrenches and bits from Panzer IV, S-Hooks, track tensioner tools, jack blocks, inertial starter cranks, barrel cleaning rods, track changing tools, and so on. Any tool or bit of a tank used to attach that tool to a German Panzer in WWII and I want to see it.

I know some of these things are pretty boring, like the shovel. But I will go in to as much detail as I can. For each video my intention is to analyze all of the available original examples, or images of them. Discuss their characteristics and what I know of how they were used. In the second part of the video which you may have seen if you checked out my track link video, I compare 1/35 scale depictions of these original items.

I would also very much like to hear from any of you the things you've learned about these items after looking them over and seeing how they function. Was there anything that surprised you? Is there something you think most people get wrong? Or are misinformed about? I know that when I first got my Mittlestollen for a Panzer III track I had no idea how it was going to work, but after a few minutes looking it over it seemed very simple.

So that's my request, if you'd like to add to the knowledge base please do, it's all just to spread correct information to the masses. I am a Panzer obsessed person, and I can think of no better place to ask for help on this than you fine people.

Adam

If you mean the thread showing what people own, if you're ok with me using what's there I can look through it.
