Hi all

I was able to produce 3 views from measurements taken from a unit at The Wheatcroft Collection - go here and select the Kurskriesel link on the left

I don't mean to go off topic but want to ask a question. How often does this need to be re-set to match the true reading of a compass? I know in a small plane during straight and level flight I was instructed to match the gyro to the compass regularly. Do these work the same and who in the tank used this, driver, commander? Thanks

Does Wheatcroft have more of these and if so what are their numbers? Just starting an informal cataloging of ones I can find.

Hi ...just back from another photo shoot at the collection (Panther Turret insides). I asked Kevin about the compass' and he has a "number" in the collection, some good some poor. Power supplies and cables as well.

I will ask him about releasing the numbers next time we speak and let you know if he is OK with that.

Just doing basic web searches, I've found about ten kurskreisel. See attached image.

I am looking for the cables attaching the kurskreisel to the power supply. Any chance of purchasing a spare set of cable?!

Best,
Rob Johnson

"Any chance of purchasing a spare set of cable ?"...........that would be a recordable event

I will ask if there are wiring diagrams so working cables could be made if you like
