Alert Help needed about a soldier S/N

I need help with this S/N:

9/902

Is it possible to know if this S/N belonged to a LSSAH soldier?

I'd like to know if there is a matching between this number and the SS-Mann "Anton Gugg"

Hope you help me..

I've a gasmask canister with serial number and rank and name written on it.
I'd like to know if this sn is specific for ss soldiers or not

It could mean allot of things (Gasmask number, EKM number, unit number, etc.).
What is the location of the number? On the outside of the canister?
Can you show a photo of it?

Sorry for my delayed reply
Yes, outside of the canister, classic position in canisters.

I found also this link related to LSSAH soldiers with the similar S/N..

That's a unit number i'd say. It's certainly not an SS membership number.

Thank you Simon, well understood.

Is there any chance to know if this "9/902" might be a unit number that matches with any unit of LSSAH or also SS Junkerschuhle Braunschweig?
