Oh yes, before & after are good. That original sling will really look good on it too. You can also get the correct clip on front sight protector/muzzle cover to stick on it. Sure makes for a fun project.

What is the correct clip on muzzle/sight protector?

sling arrived today it's in nice shape can still see the croashatching but well used.
the frog to my surprise is marked WaA655!! so another matching piece by accident.

thanks for reassuring me that the price paid was somewhat reasonable. I thought it was fair for what I got.

I would still like to see pics if anyone has them of the russian bluing removed from their K98.

If I could post pics I would show you. I'm sure some of our other members can post pics of one. There are several types, be sure to get the right one. As to price that was not bad. I have seen them between $250 up to $550. Keep up the good work.
