I totally agree with Bullit - not a Tank Cap

Someting similar to this, not necessarily Mercedes but defenitely a car - not a tank.

Tanks do not have this kind of radiator caps - believe me I know from more than 30 years experience.

Nice finds, keep digging, but not everything found in the ground is from a Tiger

its a brass cap with aluminium topping., the alu part doesn't make sense for a panzer. To me the aluminium part is only a fraction of the complete ornament that it once was . So it is rather a cap from a truck or passenger car , maybe it was a Mercedes and the star ornament is missing

I think you are right, this cap is from car.
As it was found at Tiger place, i thought this cap is from tiger.
