Default Luftwaffe ID disc ('Dog tag') for review

Hi, hoping this Luftwaffe Flak ID disc looks OK?

It seems to be the earlier war aluminium type?

Does the cord look like it might be original?

Regards, Paul

Dog tag is 100% original.
The cord is not typical, but looks original for this item.

Piotr

Thanks Simon, although I have Mario Hiscoll to thank for finding it!

Not a very exciting unit but if it's real I'm happy.

Flakersatz-Abteilung 4 (of Flakersatz-Regiment 4):-

http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/...zRegiment4.htm

According to the above they were a (replacement) Luftwaffe Flak unit based in the Iserlohn region of western Germany towards the end of the war.

Best regards, Paul
