Default SS Eickhorn for your consideration

The SS button looks too "vertical" if you know what I mean. Should be more diagonal?

Cross guards don't appear to be that of Eickhorn production. Grooves look a bit too shallow. Late aluminum grip eagle on a 37' produced dagger? Just my two cents.

The dagger looks very nice, but once you know their history of production, you start to look for these things. Hey, I'm an Eickhorn guy, and if its correct, I'd own it.

JR would be the guy I'd go to directly for advice. Look forward to others input.

Default Eick SS

I believe the cross guards are Eick. The bottom cross guard tends to flare up. I'm liking it more.

Blade looks laser etched to me, maker mark and motto also looks incorrect IMO...

Across the board? Are there any examples where that's not the case?

Everyone's observations are encouraged. I believe this to be a Whittman (surprisingly?) sale based on where I got the pictures from.

Bingo, looks laser etched to me too with no depth & a too-perfect appearance of the lettering. I'd stay away from this one.
