Hi Patrick,

Could you please advise your expert opinion of why you believe it is a copy?

Hi Robin
If I can put in my 3 cents, I agree with Patrick, set up and differences in the drawing of an eagle and wreath is not what I would like to see in Juncker's Badge

It look a good juncker wreath but with a fake new eagle. This one will fool a lot of collectors.

Gents, can someone explain to me then why the badge you say is fake is similar or rather identical as the one shown in an official catalogue?

Damian- Jacek has shown earlier in the thread the key reasons why this badge is fake- the 2 biggest ones which will red flag such a piece right away are-

-The reverse profile of the eagles talons- compare and you will see how different the fake is to the genuine Juncker you show.

-The tool mark to the pin- found on all genuine Juncker badges.

Seb, this is not a real Juncker wreath- fakers don't have a stock of genuine Juncker parts to add fake eagles to, the entire thing is copied. Look at the reverse of the wreath and how smooth it is, also the base metal is a sort of copper colour- it should be zinc on this badge or nickle silver on an earlier one.

Your assistance with this would be very mich appreciated as I do not want to lose €2200. Thx.

Awaiting yours.
