Very interesting set John, thanks for adding to the thread.

Your pouch is the first I've seen with a such an early date along with the TP marking.

Regards

Ian

Thanks for sharing this fantastic early example Fred, the markings on the label are superb.

Are there any markings left on the bag?

Regards

Ian

Hi

My little contribution to this thread , a bunch of pouches (some filled):

This is the title image of my gascape section on my site which I have re-written entirely with the addition of Heeres Mitteilungen etc....

Just go to www.mp44.nl , what's new or to the field gear section and click on the gas cape

Hope you like it

the one on the left ( trying to imitate black agd/aqd gasplane ) is BAD one ( not original gasplane ).

It is quite original ..
Here are some other photos.
The flash shine appearance.

No I haven't . Those brown one are fakes ; IMO dyed postwar tan, paper gascapes used by austrian army.
The very first thing which is a bad sign are markings - THERE WERE NO FULL DATE MARKINGS - only short dates. Other thing is that it is missing '80 g' marking which is present on all gascapes ( except for very early ones from pre war or early war period ).

Those type of faked gascapes have flooded market two or 3 years ago.
