Default NKVD / SMERSH idís document Fake or not

Good evening
I would like to have your opinion on these two documents, I know that there have been forgeries in circulation and I have a doubt about those in my possession.
I bought them on ebay ...
thank you in advance once again for your help

Fake. There's a few sellers on Ebay who sell loads of different variations, both from some ultra-elite SS troops or from SMERSH troops. I believe the sellers are mainly based in Latvia. Not one single item they sell comes close to being original. All just crap.

they are pathetic.
Thank you very much for your authentication.
Would it be possible for me to post another document on this post and have your help ?

My knowledge of Soviet documents is limited to mostly military; IDs and award documents, and I don't actively collect KGB, NKVD or SMERSH material. However I have seen items akin to these over the years and almost always the comments are "fantasy", "fake" or "garbage", often from collectors much more knowledgeable than myself such as Mr. Banziger.

The good news is that these do hold a bit of interest as fakes, if indeed they are fake, in that they can be teaching tools.

For me it is authentic ...
This soldier is Born August 3, 1916, Ukrainian nationality.
Reserve Lieutenant from February 21, 1946.
He had
1 - Medal for Victory over Germany decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR
2 - Medal of the 20 years of the Victory of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945
3 - Medal for the 30th anniversary of the Victory of the Great Patriotic War

I find this booklet really nice

Nice presentation on your photos..! I hope to see more of your collection..

I see those fake Soviet ID's on ebay all the time. In fairness, one of the sellers does list them as probable film props. What is interesting is the more you see them you start to see the same few guys in the photos, especially on the Third Reich ones. I wonder if it's the faker himself..?

Great discussion thread. I agree that the first one is a fake.
