Officer's visor cap for Bavarian cavalry. The crimson band & piping were used by both Ulan regiments, and the 1st & 2nd Chevaux Leger regiments.

Fabulous items being shown. One of mine, a scarce one year volunteer strap as worn by individual assigned to the Saxon manned 7th & 8th Companies of Eisenbahn Regiment Nr. 2. Thanks to Kaisers Bunker, after 30 Sept 1913 the 7th & 8th Komp of ER Nr. 2 wore a Sachsen (Saxon) gilt Wappen on silver star. Mike

aye... that's the rub... its been my conviction for years that if a say and show what you bought before the postoffice has delivered it into your hands.... you jinx it and the postoffice will lose it! :-(
