Easy to think, much harder to do.
But after a couple of weeks and a huge amount of hours spent sewing the knots...

Default 2017 best imperial non medal

Beautiful items gentlemen. Here are some of my favorites.
Just managed to sneak them in under the 2017 wire. Purchased last night as an early present for myself. I edited them to make it only one picture. They are not reduced or cropped in real life.

Only the cap is from 2017, the other items I bought in previous years.
But the cap is very nice.

Lovely items so far.

I have to go with a steel helmet too because it's one that I've been looking for nearly 25 years - an untouched M18 ear cut-out with the original Wollstaub felt textured paint. It is complete with its original liner and chinstrap.

The photos are from the seller. The colour is much greener and not at all close to this brown shade seen here. I will post a thread on it in the New Year.

Hans

Nice items! My latest one for this year an M1906 Royal Hungarian Honved Infantry Lieutenant Tunic "Dolmány" with it's string belt. (sorry for the bad angle of the picture, it's my fifth try, so I think it remains so....)
