Default BEST IMPERIAL PURCHASE (NON-MEDAL) of 2017

Hi Guys,

In the medal section there is a nice thread running already on Best Imperial Purchase and although I like medals I prefer Uniforms and Headgear. So please show us your best Imperial uniform and/or headgear purchase for 2017.

Here is mine:

named tunic for a Major in 1st Bavarian Infantry Regiment Koenig. I am also quite fond of the period oil painting of another major but this one in the 3. Garde z. Fuss Regiment captured in the pic as well.

Please share yours.

Cheers, W.I.R.

Mike, as said before fantastic tunic. Please put some newpapers or plastic bags in both sleeves to fill these out a bit which will make it even better looking.

That's a nice Bavarian tunic. A nice long Bavarian ribbon bar would look super on the tunic since you have a field grade officer

And of course a superb JzPf tunic - but I have said that already so many times I do not think this will come as a surprise to you! Thanks for posting.

Not much you will say.
Allright, but I incidentally had a complete set of matching chords to try a restoration...
