IMO, it's highly doubtful. These have been heavily faked. For one thing, the prongs on the back are not what I would expect to see on an original.

Similar prongs can be seen in magnifying glass on many cap badges.

IMO, raw microscopic prongs of metal after stamping.

I’ve always wanted one in this style but never found one I felt was original
