Being able to find and buy one of these flags is almost impossible, the III / 100 has long been the only flag to buy and has sold for that price. I would buy one at any time, but there is no.

IMO an item has a piece of what someone is willing to pay for. And this was sold for $ 7,250 .....

Don't matter, its a printed flag and 2nd type and rarity does not dictate price premiums. Its a fahne and condition is the main factor in value when compared to other items. Flags are softer than many other items and not along ago there were several D.E banners in market at the same time sitting unsold, certainly more desirable.

IMO the II/104 SS-SBF shown in the 16
June 2018 Landshuter Rüstkammer sale
appears IMO to be authentic. The II/104
SS flag is of the 2nd pattern, having the
correct narrow corner patch cord edging,
mobile center swastika, silver strand in
black twist wool fringe with simplified
mounting edge (without extra silver wire).
....
However the length of the fringe fails to
properly extend all the way to the pole
side corner edges. Maybe one of the fringe
ends came loose and unraveled, and then
the other fringe end was shortened to match.
Flag total fringe length should be examined
to see if repairs have been done with the
now missing or removed ends. I doubt that
the flag was originally made that way, with
short length fringe, based on others I've seen,
including two 2nd pattern SS flags of mine.

Yes, this was an amazing beauty! I Purchased it from the auction and unfortunately some moron punks that broke into my ex fiancé's house stole it a few years ago. The dumbasses ripped it from the poles with a ring or two left on the pole and one or two on the flag. Luckily it was covered by my insurance but I would much rather have my flag! It really enrages me that they destroyed such a nice piece!!
I should have had it out of there sooner, but could of should of would of...
