Thanks again for all the kind comments. Its funny but as many helmets I have dug out of the woodwork over the past 40 years its the first real KM I have ever found. I've found 6 SSs, 3 DAKs, 5 Normany Camos, several M35 DDs, 2 "toned Heers" and even an M40 DD. The decal is so deep gold on this helmet I will never mistake a toned Heer for one again. Thanks again guys!

Great find. But remember, the first thing to look for on a KM is the the black, raised edge around the eagle. This layered construction is only seen on KM decals. Sometimes it's not so easy to see, for example on textured paint on M40s, but on this M35 with its smooth paint, it's very evident. Congrats on your find! Well done.

Very nice helmet. I have never owned a KM. Seems as though you had very good luck in those years with what you have described. Regards, Barry
