Default NVA Uniform Shirts...Very Unusual Variation

Two Vietnam War NVA Uniform Shirts from a 1st Infantry Division soldier...Very Unusual Variation black shirt with odd contrasting cuffs and pockets...It's almost like he was a small long and had to extend the sleeves...I've owned quite a few NVA and VC uniforms, but this one is new to me.

This is really cool - I've never seen anything like it either. Your theory is the only one I can think of also. Really, everything about it is unusual. Pretty neat, thanks!

I've got a pair of VC Main Force trousers with the exact same blue buttons on them. Are you sure these are NVA and not Main Force?

Thanks for sharing! The NVA shirt with the odd cuff and pocket variation might be a very rare North Virtnamese produced shirt. The color variation might be due to differing qualities of fabric at the time of production. Unless of course the stitching is different on the pockets and cuffs..
