A recent acquisition without a name - I hope someone could identify him!

Truly appreciated for this, Jaime.

I have no idea how rare his photo is but Google shows little... You never cease to amaze us!

This came from a Wien source, so it matches.
This specific photo perhaps as the commander of 207.Sicherungsdivision?

All the best,

All the best,
My pleasure, Akira.

If I can help you with more German Generals, let me know, mate.

Cheers,

Jaime

Thank you Jamie, can you tell the names of a general and GSO? If needed I will provide a bigger scan of the face.

This one is very difficult, Akira, because I can see his face well. However, on another website he was identified as Rudolf Schmundt, but I am pretty sure that it is not him.

Interesting how they both have a lower pocket unbuttoned. I guess you have to follow the general's lead.

Jamie, I did not scan this slide in very high resolution. Attached is a better scan (I do not have time to rescan it, sorry).

I looked at the slides, and found one slide showing the Truppenkennzeichen of 30.Infanterie-Division.

Could he be Tippelskirch?
