Default TDB Gold for review

May I please have your opinions on the following TDB in gold. It looks authentic to me but the seller informs me that not a 'cello' version and is an early version.
The seller is very knowledgeable but i would like as many opinions as possible before buying

many thanks in advance
Barry

I like it, a nice example, to bad it is missing the felt backing. Smitty

Despite the missing backing still a great collectible.
If the price is right go for it.

IMO rarer than the celeon one, and more attractive.

Thanks Andy and Jacques.
Although explained to me before what is the difference between this one and a celeon one?
I was also reliably informed that this one is rarer. Is it because it is an early model of the badge or made by a different company?
Thank you for all the advice as always

The ribbon material is cellon and should be rare said by some collectors.
