Default Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber, L/24, Fritz Zimmermann

I had some of my wound badges out the other day to take some new photos and since I hardly ever see one of these posted, I thought I would post this one up here.
Ralph.

Hi Ralph

I really like the look of your badge and the fact yours has an oval catch plate that matches the raised catch guide is a bonus in my opinion.

I have just checked the raised maker mark and stamped maker mark versions that I have in my collection and they all have circular catch base plates. Not sure I have seen one with the oval catch plate before.

Great to see

regards
Graeme
