Default Gustav Binner cap

A Gustav Binner (Breslau maker) Flak EM cap. Unit marked and in very lightly used, near mint condition, so it matches the Waffenrock in that respect!

Love the phone number, tempted to ring it (just kidding) and order a spare, of course they would answer in Polish now as Breslau is now Wroclaw in Poland!

Default Flak fliegerbluse

Flak fliegerbluse. a minty and little used example. This has already been shown earlier in this thread, as I bought it from Adam!

Love the minimalism of this one, just as it would have been issued to a recruit.

Default Flak HG Spiess

A Flak Hermann Goring "Der Spiess" fliegerbluse, with of course a white piped cap as worn by HG Flak units. The cap is marked to a Flak unit too!

The Flak badge is a copy for now. The trousers and boots are copy 'fillers' too, I only really collect 'the top half' but was curious to see what it looked like on a full mannequin.

More pictures here:- http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=835564

The cap:- http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=835543

The parade belt in the first pics:- http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=782344

The belt with aluminium buckle from the torso pictures:- http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=780673

The fliegerbluse and cap were from Ratisbon's Auctions (Klaus Butschek).

Default Flak Oberfeldwebel

Flak Oberfeldwebel wearing an M40 greatcoat, post October 1942, when the collar tabs were dropped on the mantel/ greatcoat.

Unusually, although dated 1941, it's lined with artificial silk (rayon), rather than cotton. I think a lot of people generally date fliegerbluse etc with rayon lining as 1942 onwards, perhaps this manufacturer (Ravensberg, Bielefeld) was an early user?

Doesn't look like I've posted this in this thread... Some updated photos. STILL seeking any paperwork to Oberst Hans-Wilhelm Fichter (Soldbuch/Wehrpass/Award Docs etc).

Adam - thanks for adding that piece to this thread. Really looks nice how you’ve completed it.

I continue to keep an eye out for Fichter stuff, but haven’t seen anything since that song book years ago.

Best,

J-

Thanks boys! I realised that I HAD posted it a couple of pages ago but this display looks much better. And Jason I very much appreciate you keeping your eyes peeled for me. These docs are basically the only thing I'm looking for these days.
