Having been there a few years ago [in Cologne], I sure wish I knew what I know now about this episode. Knew about the Panther, of course - but not as much about the lady who perished.

Me either, the only time I was in Cologne. Looked around the Domplatz envisioning the burning Panther, but knew very little else then about the whole incident.
