Here are some more photos of the same cufftitle at diff angles. Still bad, or at least a weird one imo

Hi Andy, there were numerous variations on the HG cufftitle, partly due to the massive expansion of the unit from Regiment to Korps size in a relatively short space of time, including some that were locally made in Holland where some of their units were stationed.

Bill Petz's superb HG thread:-

http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=263690

shows this. The variations are often quite subtle.

However, I don't think I have ever seen one like this one, it looks like one 'trying' to look like a common type but without the quality (note the Umlaut dots). I would pass on this one, they are not that difficult to come across.

Best regards, Paul

First off, thanks for everyone's input.. Always appreciated. I'm the one that has this listed on eBay. I posted it here on the forum a while back and received one positive response and no dissenting opinions. That's usually a good sign. I'll probably take it off eBay and hold it for a show where people can get a closer look. I've added one more picture. Again, thanks for everyone's help.

If this is not a problem resulting from the quality of the photos. I think that the worker behind the quality of production would a least ... trouble
