Default Huge shin gunto

Hi,
I bought this sword at auction for £200.Its huge. The blade is 76.4 cm long and it
appears to be cut down as the nakago has been chopped up.
Strange numbers are on the habaki and nakago,I have not seen that before.A
nice prominent hada of itame and masame and a saya with brown ishime laquer.
Quite a lot for the money.

I agree, no details look Japanese to me. It does have Chinese traits so I would get rid of it, thank God it was only 200 dollars.

I agree, it's a fake unfortunately.
If the auction described it as genuine, you should be able to get your money back.

There exist much more better replica swords from china than this one. This sword is a so called "one looker".....

Default chinese copy sword

hi members
nicely made long size blade but truthfully most chinese made swords is a telling fact if you look carefully at the boshi japanese makers all ways has a sweeping looking boshi that shows the point also many chinese swords have serial numbers ion the habaki and last if you will paying 200.00 the tsuba and the gunto fitting are worth 200.00 thats for sure hope every body agreesthanks god bless andy
