Here's a couple. The first one has a twisted frame!

The second one is okay.

Hi,

I have 1939 EK2s marked for 49 (JFS, in it's tute) and 125 (Eugen Gauss). I regret selling an LDO cased 1939 EK2 marked 16 for Alois Rettenmaier (NOT Alols Rettenmaler as in the list above).

If you haven't already done so, it would be worth cross-ckecking with Blitz's huge EK thread in Die Kniepe.

Regards

Does any of you know what happened to Wagner & Son after WW I? Since it didn't manufacture EKs during WW II.. I have been wondering about this for a while now and any info would be appreciated

Is there any explanation why we do not have Assmann among the makers of both EK1 and 2 while these awards are offered in their sales catalogue? I guess everything Assmann sold, they also made, or not?

Cheers, Frank

Bear in mind the Assmann catalogue is a sales catalogue, and so by definition the stuff in it will have been for retail sale. This list is supposedly a list of official manufacturers and suppliers to the Präsidialkanzlei, not LDO licensed manufacturers.

Default EKII List

A couple of months ago I endevoured to collect an EKII (1939)from every maker and every mark, ie L/11 and 3. My search or hunt for these EK's has led me to believe that this is certainly a daunting task. To date I have collected 37 EKII's from different makers or marks. This is out of a total of (what I have counted) 63. Here is a list I have compiled of EKII makers and LDO marks. I am still only half way from collecting all of them. The list seems to keep growing.

Anyone know of any others.
