Default Pictures of Mussolini's 1937 Visit to Germany-what are these?

Honestly I have no idea what these are....other than they appear to be of Mussolini's visit to Germany in 1937. They were in a tub of paper items from a collector who passed away and I acquired from his daughter so I have no history on them. There are 24 pictures total on 22 pieces of paper of various dimensions. Not 100% sure if they are even originals but they do not glow under black light, for what that is worth. The photographs faintly bleed through the backside of the paper. Any thoughts?

Hi,

all those pictures are clearly taken by Hoffmann and his studio, so they could be copies made at the time.

Many - if not all - are available in the next books :

Hi,

krag45, i'm thinking that those pictures are actually cut and taken from the "Mussolini erlebt Deutschland" book.

Jaime, here is the full picture, from the above-mentioned book.

Pictures courtesy of the Catawiki auction.

See You

Vince

Got it, thanks! Thought that might be an option that they were removed from something but didn't see any page numbers on the prints. This collector did have a habit of removing pages from period publications and framing them....
