Would like to see the dates/markings clearer, but I think the cloth lined cap is known as a m1919, with cloth brim. What does the rest of the other cap look like? I just see a leather brim and chinstrap.

I would also like to see some more overall shot of these hats. These were used through the Reichsheer and into training units of the early Third Reich.

The photos I've seen of this model (M21?) cloth visor cap in wear have been post 1923, mid-late 1920's and into the 1930's... perhaps its the cockade that tells us its very early RW. Might you have any photos in your collection showing the soft visored hat in use during the FK period by chance?

We usually see them wearing kratzchen, or schirmmutze like the enlisted mans cap below.
