Default Wrong Flag

This is not the type of flag you would find on a Panzer Commanders vehicle or any other panzer. If anything it would be a naval vessel flag but the size and contruction of this flag is very common fake. sorry

I see that it is still listed as of 1300 today..... Is there a legitimate debate about this piece being genuine or is he just waiting for the right victim? This is beginning to look like contempt for the collector.

Perhaps everyone that has one of these fake flags should contact him and offer it for sale!

Are his othe flags ok? What can one think of the rest of his inventory? Someone like me who has not been in the collecting hobby for very long, I dont know this man at all,but he certainly has a good predigre on paper and a large inventory of nice items.

I have been collecting for only 8 years but have never heard of any problems with his inventory until now. I focus upon flags and armbands but generally steer clear of his site because in my opinion (and many others') his prices are too high. That being the case I may have missed issues in the past. I did purchase a flag from him about 7 years ago and aside from overpaying (learn to shop around!), it was a good item.

I guess when you have a website you have to expand past your comfort zone in dealing with different items to offer for sale. I spoke with him and he pulled it from his website, very easy to deal with as usual.

the above mentioned episode is a clear example of A -one should do researce on an item before you buy (especially ,an item that is considerablely high priced such as this one)...and B-if you are buying from a dealer, buy from dealers that offer ,unconditional ,lifetime authentic guarantees ,such as john t GERMAN WARBOOTY.COM ,and CRAIG GOTTLIEB ,just to name a couple .of the many more that are out there ...no one can be 100% sure that what they sell ,as we have seen many times before on this forum ...this thread is one example of many that makes this site so important and educational for all collectors ,buyers and sellers ...
