Default Romanian/Cz food container

A friend found this in Russia and is asking me to post it to find out more details. As the markings show it is from CZ, but was apparently used by the Romanian army as well.
My friend would like to know what the threaded bolts are for? Is there another piece that was supposed to attach there?

Thanks for any help

Agree that it is part of a field kitchen, made of pure nickel in 1937 for the Czechoslovakian Army. Here is a link showing some Czechoslovakian field kitchens and equipment. Yours was probably part of a mobile field kitchen, though by the last photo on the page it looks like it could be removed from the field kitchen and placed in a box to be moved to the front.
