I'm with you, Sanya. I don't like it either. Very poor craftsmanship, very poor finishing for 3rd Reich, IMO.

Hi English Bob.
Is this a cross that was on ebay, here in the UK?
For me the date is very poorly crafted, the three looks pretty bad, and I would have to agree with Robert P. on that point, of poor craftsmanship.
The soldered on ring looks flattish, but maybe it will be better in hand as the photos are not very clear. Also the ribbon ring looks very thin.
So for these reasons, if it is the one from ebay, I did not bid.
Hope its a lot better in hand, for you.
John

Hi John,
Yes it was an ebad purchase it was cheap so took a chance, if it is bad then certainly better quality than the usual garbage you see I'll post pictures when it turns up,if its no good it can go straight to bazaar with repro scratched on it,then it won't waste any more bandwidth.
Many Thanks
Bob

Hi Guys,
I have the cross in hand its not a good one, with pressure applied it bends. The core is non magnetic and not 3 piece construction.
It looks good placed next originals, though if id had the benefit of having it in hand at the point of purchase I would have passed on buying it...

Thank you for your responses, fortunately for me it was not an expensive mistake.

Regards

Bob
