Default Luftwaffe Masks - Beware....

Hello,

Now if you have been watching E-bay over the last year, you will have seen an abundance of luftwaffe masks appear, all complete with clamp and straps. Jos and I have been chatting about the originality of these straps, but no one has been able to produce photos of these straps off the mask until now.... I can now confirm most of our suspicions, that these straps are reproductions. I have been offered 3 sets for about 150 euros each and now have the photos to prove it.

Yes,I've also seen enough of these already, think the LBA stamped ones are the newer ones...
They also come for the early fightermask, which only had one strap with a split..

The first ones made us wonder, but like Craig says, these are 100% fake, nevertheless these are very nicely made and a very good substitute for a fightermask,I would pay that price if I had a nice mask without the straps.
They have one big advantage...you can display your mask with stretched straps, something you would think about twice with a original pair,no ?

I think they make very good springclamps too these days...,think I saw a few bwz marked ones.
In general this means that all complete black late war masks on Ebay and at some dealers are restored with these items...

Now let's wait for the completely fake O2 mask...

Jos.
