Default Japanese binoculars

Hello everyone,

This pair of binoculars is a model used by the army during the Second World War? Or is it a civilian model after the war?

Thank you, best regards.

Is there a built in range grid inside one lense?

Hello,

I'm sorry, I did not understand your question.

It seems to me that these binoculars are of TOPCON manufacture (Tokyo Optical Co) founded in 1932 to manufacture optical instruments for the Japanese army. If I'm not mistaken, it be a pair of binoculars used by the Japanese army during the Showa era.

When you look through the lense, do you see a retical? It is used to determine range.
