Default Unissued Heer Eagle collection

Small, but the start of my unissued eagle collection. M34 eagle isn't unissued but a stand in til I find one. When my budget improves I will get around to tropical insignia

Thanks to Fred Green getting me started on my first 3.

Sam

A nice start to an interesting topic with plenty of variations. Make sure you add cockades in with the cap eagles!

Thank you both! There is something simple yet satisfying about these eagles in a collection I think.

And yes I will be sure to add in cockades!

Fred has been leading others to the addiction of collecting cloth insignia for years now. So far I've resisted doing anything more than sticking my toes in the water, but it ain't easy as he's a master at what he does.

Very nice eagles you have there!

you really need to be carefull this addiction of mine started by being bored one afternoon and buying some cloth insignia as it was cheap at the time and it grew and grew this is a small example of what i have and what can happen one badge turns into hundreds ,next thing you are a insignia junkie

That is quite the collection! I am hoping to focus simply on Heer variations (and not Panzer). Hopefully that will keep the cost and the amount down a little... but who knows where I will end up!

Hi Sam,

A very nice set of eagles, and I am chuckling about Fred Green being named as your 'enabler' in getting into the addiction! Fred is a wonderful guy, and he has been a great help and advisor to me in collecting army cloth insignia for several years.

I may be near bankrupt at times, but I am happy! Thank you, Fred!

Lloyds, as ever, you have an excellent array of eagles!

I never tire of cloth eagles.

All the best, gentlemen,

Mark
