It went to a better home Greg. KDM is overlooked on that combo, it's such a nice strike and in Silver. Nice to see you also display the JFK reverse as obverse, hehe.

Very nice. That ribbon is outstandingly worn. Do you have it connected to some particular wearer? Otherwise it´s hard to say the decade. This button was used by three companies: Godet&Sohn (1923-1930), Godet-Werner (1930-33) and Godet&Sohn A.G. (1933-45, though since 1935 only for chains, with some exceptions).
Trevor did a thread about the time frame for Godet buttons a couple years ago. Please update it with the new findings.

Marianer Kreuz has mm GR in the ring, so I assume it's Gebrüder Resch.

FJO cross has Gemsenkopfpunz (gold) and VM which would be Vinc Meyer&Söhne
GVKmK looks more like gilt but could be the pic. KuK marks is so similar esp for the small versions.

1/2 half sized Prinzen or big mini? I lean towards big mini.
22.6mm, silver one piece with enameled core screwback.

I will start peacefully, with some noncombatants. Here is EK2 1914 with white ribbon. This style of photo nicely shows the look of mini, as worn.

Here some noncom tubes. They came in one lot and very probably belonged to one soldier. The older type of the button is to the left and is visibly more worn than pieces to the right.

Miro, the ribbon on that non-combattant J.Godet is quite different from the others shown here, is that a common anomaly? I'm also curious whether or not the slightly pebbled cores of the EK's (both 1st and 2nd class) is a feature connected only to Godet?

Jesse, I thought this Anhalt 1st class would render some comments, as the existence of such minis has previously been questioned.

cheers
Peter
