Sorry for delayed response, GMU, was traveling without much internet access!

Spot on, Man!

Where did you find this one??

See the same part-circle below the cross (the "orb")...you can clearly see it is not elevated, but rather an impression given a dark enamel touch-up to make it look 3D. When they cast the original, that feature must have been lost somehow and had to be reproduced to "look right," but all of these are---at present anyway--identical in that respect it seems.

Best!

Jim

Hmmm.... I just noticed a familiar looking site-mark poking into the right lower part of one of the images....worried the well-respected dealer may not be aware of the concern this piece represents...

PS Wagner would never let that "r" in "rite" through quality control

Indeed so, GMU! That is where I first became aware of them in fact. The cross shown in that post was examined in person by someone I trust (who also took the photos) and he reported it had a depressed seam visible between the two cast halves--something no solid-pressed Wagner would ever feature. Fortunately for the purchaser, it was bought from a dealer who accepted return for full refund upon being informed it was a forgery. One wonders how many of them are out there...
