Default Ottoman badges??

Hi Guys,

Any help on these 2 would be greatly appreciated! They are both maker marked Drago Paris but have a very Turkish look- I haven't been able to find anything like them online- are they WW1 Ottoman forces?

Many thanks for any help!

Patrick

Given the crescent moons plus the French maker, any chance that they are Morrocan or Algerian? Many of the French colonial units from those places used Islamic/Arabic style badging and the crescent moon was quite popular on their badges.

Hello!

They are French regimental badges. Respectively 9 th and 1st Régiment de Tirailleurs
Algériens (Algerian Light Infantry).
No Ottoman connexion ....
