Default LDO etui for Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse or no? Original?

Good day.
Came across this etui, seller has listed it to be for EK2. Marked L/11 on the case for manufacturer Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid.
Looked at other known originals marked LDO L/11 etui's & found out that the case should be marked with 3 letters- LDO from the inner side. Also the inside colors are different, is it from the age??
The stamp also looks different, the box is smaller and has thicker lining?!
I am concerned about authenticity of this etui...
Would like to hear Your opninions.
Thanks and best regards,
Peter

Peter, I think your case started out as an original LDO EK11 case, but has been 'repaired' at some time.

The inside of the top of the case looks to have been replaced, and possibly the base with the L/11 stamp.

If the LDO mark is on the outside, there isn't a LDO stamp on the inside.

There are much better condition first pattern L/11 cases out there.

Allan
