Michael,

Wonderful M1942 bayonet made by Wilde Drop Forge & Tool.

One of 60,000 made by this firm which was one of six manufacturers of the M1942.

Here are two others.

One from the American Fork and Hoe (AFH) who made 350,000 of this model, and one from Union fork & Hoe (UFH) who made 385,000 of this model...

Indeed ! on bayonet reference page states that WT production accounted for about 4% of total production.
