Default FG42 bayonet

Hello
One of my friends has got this rare FG42 bayonet.
What do you feel about this rarity ? Is it a good one ?

I believe when You measure the end of blade You will see there is same diameter of blade as on same place as french bayonets, germans shortened the blade and shortened the knurled section in handle, i saw mainly the german production with no ribbing part on middle of handle, but certainly i am not expert on these bayonets, so maybe existed other version. You should wait for comparation german pieces by experts on that area. b.r.Andy
