A Panther head example but the quality of the grind of the blade appears to be very poor.
Is there any maker's mark on the blade beneath the shield?
Ralph.

IMO, probably a late Imperial or Weimar 1/ 2 lionhead officers artillery saber. With mismatched scabbard, could be EICKHORN, but would need better photos of back strap and langet.
