Thats a nice Granatbüchse 39.

Attached a picture from Grb39.

It's a modified anti-tank rifle 39 with shortened barrel and added cup-launcher for the anti-tank rifle grenade.

how are the short-strap bags worn? one on either side of the neck/shoulders as usual?

thank you. were the long strap ones worn vertically in the front (kind of like a vest), or more going back under the arms? sorry for the questions, just trying to get a visual of how worn. the straps are different than most grenade bags in pictures and they don't seem as though they would hang the same way.

the pair Patrick shows, the two straps go behind the back and the long one around the neck in front of arms, so yes kinda like a vest,
