Default Fallschirmjager Badge

This is the Sellers Description:

German World War II Army Paratrooper Fallschirmjager Badge. The reverse side is maker marked ‘C E Junker Berlin SW’. Has a thin vertical pin back. Two piece two domed rivet brass and nickel construction. Low excellent condition.

In Your Opinions is this an Authentic Badge?

I agree, very poor fake bearing very little resemblance to an original Juncker Para.

Is that even a correct configuration? My Assmann Catalog only shows one Badge Configuration.

Radom, there are two paratroop badges in use. One for the Luftwaffe, as illustrated in the Assman catalog, and a separate badge for the Army/Heer, which is the reproduction you posted.

The reason the Army badge is not shown in the Assman catalog is the fact that only Juncker was authorized to produce the army badge. Assman along with many others made the Luftwaffe paratroop badge.

Thanks for that information.
