Default German helmet 2

Should really appreciate opinions about this helmet....
Sorry for bad pictures but hopefully you can give me an opinion....
My father also found this one in a bargain box and then gave it to me....

Best,
Stefan

Inside the helmet I can only find this, can it be: 1S66, D316?
When it comes to the decal, this is the best picture I can take now....
I do not know if it helps...
Thank you for your opinions.

Best,
Stefan

markings look like NS66
NS =Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke AG, Schwerte
66= shell size
D316= batch number D316
Decal well rubbed away but top corner showing Heer eagle wing
Hope this helps

NS66 For sure, nice pot with Heer decal removed, good eye on the member that caught that.
