Looks like a portable oxygen treatment set... other than that, I'm not much help,
I'm afraid...

Ok so from what I can find it's pretty much what it says on the tin- it was used as as a mass air treatment device for use in hospitals, rooms, fire services etc. Although rare it is not exceedingly rare and was used away from the front lines (although possibly in front lines?)- for example, this museum here found theirs from a municipal fire museum: https://www.bunkerbehoud.com/behoud/...sauerstoff.php

Other users on other forums have also found them:

I imagine the most information you're going to find about this is reading the instruction manual it came with- otherwise yours looks like a very nice complete set, and from what I've seen elsewhere is worth around 300 euro. Judging from other pictures yours does look to have an over-paint of some sorts.

More info regarding specification from a German doctors field journal: https://www.ai-online.info/abstracts....3_5_00055.pdf
