Judging by the reverse hardware it appears to be a 1930’s solid struck example.

The hinge style would suggest W. Deumer as the maker.

How much does it weigh. Deumer made these in tombak and in massive cupal.

Nice one !
These are beautifully made with superb detail and very high threedimensional wreaths.
hard to show on a photograph, though...
