Default German canvas washbowl ?

Dear forum members,

I've found this canvas washbowl a couple of years back but never found out what it was, till I found this thread http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/field-...ndition-24657/ recently.
But I've found a similar bowl on this site www.sofmilitary.co.uk/british-canvas-wash-bowl-product,11853 which claims it to be british made.
My question is the bag I have a german, british or another country produced washbowl.
I didn't find any stamps and mine seems to be missing the loop (probably torn off) .
Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Patrick

Hello Gran Sasso,

Hmm that is strange, I've sent it through the forum system, I probably did something wrong.

Thank you for the extra information it is very interesting and i like the period picture!
So there are 2 variants, mine is the tan rubberized canvas variant.

A small question, which book is this ?

Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards Patrick

Thank you for the reply gran sasso!

Nice pieces you have there.
That splittertarn variant is an interesting/neat piece, is this a late war variant?
Thank you for showing.

Kind regards,
Zeltbahntje / Patrick

That is interesting, Patrick
Never saw one of those made from zelt before. I have two myself, in two different colours and 'weights' of material.
I like your faded example very much, zeltbahntje
