Default Shovel opinions

Hello, Im tempted to buy this German shovel but before I get carried away I thought I should get some opinions.
The Shovel is marked LG 40

Far from an expert but that cover looks like it was made this week.

As for the tool I would look for one undoubtedly german like Tom has shown here:

Spade is not WW2 German....perhaps early Swiss model (which is similar to the "1874" German pattern). Carrier looks to be new-made (reproduction).

The shovel is definately swiss ( the markings and shape says all about it ), and the cover is a repro.

Yes, shovel is swiss and cover is repro for sure.......
