Found on Sdkfz 222, 250/9 ausf.A and B, Sdkfz 234/1, Aufkl.pz.38t.

Yes, ive measured it. 45mm dia. tube, etc. There are others out there, just not as common as the Pak40 scope, which you see at least three of at any one time on ebay.

Still tracking down parts for the turret. Scope is 24 1/2" long. Have a British scope same dia, would modify if the original cannot be found.

Interesting, can you look through it? Does it have the reticle?

Would you please be so kind and post a photo while looking through the optic? I would love to find out what the reticle looks like.

What I really wonder is, there have been a lot of people at the Littlefield collection and took photos of the TZF3a from the exterior, but nobody had the idea yet to take a photo while looking through it for the reticle?

If I did not live in Europe I would definately have gone to the Littlefield collection and took a photo like this...

This is the Littlefield Optic in the sdkfz 222

And its a realy rare and hard to get Optic! It is also missing on my sdkfz 222 !! :-(

The Optics for Panzer 38 T are an good option as it is better as nothing....
