I'm presently in Bastogne, I will get better shots of the bike when it's back home in Denmark. The one I bought is the one on the right, it's an Express-Truppenrad M1935, the gepäckträger is the standard issue type for this particular model in accordance withe the manual and sparapartslist from 1935. The bike has the original Continental 28/1.70 tyres, rahmenkasten 1941 with WA stamp. The bike has approx 90 pct original black paint remaining.

The one on the left is a Salamander with 1944 dated rahmenkasten and rear wheel. The gepäckträger is a mixture of the earlier 1935 model with a 1939-40 model. I don't have any other detailed pictures of that particular bike.

Hello, did you purchased the bike from a Dutch guy called Peter Verhoeven?, looking at the bikes I think so, he is a very good and honest man and a real authority regarding the German truppenfahrrad, did you see the camouflaged bike he had for sale?, a real beauty which a good friend of mine purchased, I also bought my NSU from him a year ago, very nice truppenfahrrad you bought.

Yes indeed it was from your Dutch friend Peter Verhoeven - a real knowledge database, I was amazed to see how much attention was made to the details of the bikes and the careful restauration to the parts that needed repaint or similar.

He also had some spareparts/original tires etc so if some members need anything they can try to contact him: Peter.Verhoeven-2@Invista.com

I did see the camo painted bike which sold in the morning, new modern tires (and unfortunately a complete repaint, but a good job) - it was in "working" condition and quite nice indeed for display and also for actual use.

Will post more pics of my bike later.
