Adrian

Do you still have the German WW2 horse limber (protze) yoke? This is the same as on this web page, 16 photos down:

http://www.lovettartillery.com/10.5c...ze_Limber.html

If you still have this part is it for sale and how much?

The horse yoke that is pictured in DSCO1801 (the 5th photo posted) is one I am interested in. Let me know if you want to sell it and what amount. My email is:

Adrian

This yoke should also work for the lFH 98 Protze as well as a number of other horse drawn vehicles. I am interested in it.

Yes, The one on the back of the Protze is a single tree for hooking one wheel team horse to the traces (pull ropes). The longer one (like in Adrian's photo) stored on the right side of the Protze, is the Yoke. The ring in the center of this one hooks onto the end of the limber (Protze) pole and the two Swing Team horses (two horses in the middle of the six horse team) connect their four trace ropes to this device.

Do you know which howitzer this protze is for? It looks very much like the Protze for the 10,5cm lFH 18. Is the Protze for sale or trade?

Neeme.[/QUOTE]

Neeme,

I am interested in the protze. If you could measure the ammunition slots to identify what type of howitzer this protze served with, it would be helpful. I could then let you know what price I would be willing to offer.

(I tried to respond to your text in Wehrmacht Awards but I do not think it went through. Please email me at: Lovett155@hotmail.com
